Dr. Sukanda Jongsermtrakoon earned a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education (General Science and Educational Computer) with 2nd Class Honors. She received a Master's Degree in Educational Technology and Communications (funded by the 90th Anniversary Chulalongkorn University Fund, Ratchadaphiseksomphot Endowment) and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology and Communications (awarded the 100th Anniversary Chulalongkorn University Fund for high-potential doctoral candidates), with both Master's and Doctoral dissertations evaluated as "Very Good". All three degrees were earned from the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University.

Her professional background includes serving as a teacher at Bangkok Christian College, an educational technology consultant for a multinational corporation, and a lecturer at Panyapiwat Institute of Management and Kasetsart University, before currently serving as Lecturer and Assistant Secretary of the Department of Educational Technology and Communications, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University.

Dr. Sukanda specializes and conducts academic research in educational technology and artificial intelligence applications in education, immersive virtual media creation, Open Educational Resources (OER) development, educational programming and embedded systems, and teacher professional development for digital classroom transformation. She has authored books published both nationally and internationally, continuously published research articles in national and international journals, and received research grants from domestic and international organizations including UNESCO-INNOTECH, Google for Education, and the Fundamental Fund.

She is internationally certified by leading global technology organizations as a Google Certified Trainer, Google Certified Coach, Google Certified Innovator, Gemini Certified Educator, and Canva Education Certified Trainer. Furthermore, she is frequently invited as a Keynote Speaker and guest lecturer on AI applications in learning management and academic research for government agencies, private sectors, educational institutions, and international organizations.
